"Matt Levine's newest, carefully curated creation has come to play. Located on Broome Street, just shy of SoHo's main hustle, Chalk Point Kitchen is a great escape for diners who want to feel right at home. The eclectic, yet warm atmosphere is nicely complimented by a knowledgeable, unpretentious staff and delicious, flavorful ingredients. The food is comforting, yet fresh, with just enough creativity to keep you interested: the creamy, handmade burrata with Meyer lemon, garden beet salad with blue cheese and buttermilk-dill, and the hearty Berkshire pork chop with pickled B&G peppers and deliciously roasted rosemary potatoes are must-haves. Chalk Point also has paid careful attention to detail with cloth napkins wrapped up in rustic twine and your party's reservation name written in chalk on a miniature board positioned in the center of the table."

"Everything was delicious and memorable however, these mussels were so next level as I sit in my bed and think about them, I can only compare them to the proverbial 'one that got away', simply because I don't have a bowl next to me right now and I am definitely feeling some type of way in their absence. They were so incredible."

"It is, in short, a pretty restaurant. The people eating there are very pretty. The food, served on a charmingly nonsensical mishmash of painted porcelain plates and Chinese-restaurant melamine, is very pretty. The food is also really, really good."

"We ordered: the 'Chopped Arctic char tartar' (with tarragon, capers, lemon aioli & house-made potato chips), the 'Roasted Heirloom Carrots' (Feta, black truffle & lemon) and the 'Smoked North Fork Duck Breast' (Grilled spring onion, amarena cherry & chimichurri)Our verdict: all phenomenal and Instagram worthy dishes. Don't think that this is all; I didn't even mention the desserts (butterscotch pudding with popcorn) and the cocktails yet!"

3 Stars: "The combined efforts make for a sceney joint—bartenders are bow tied, the clientele leggy—but playful small plates and smart riffs on textbook cocktails warrant the buzz. The It-crowd vibe of Chalk Point, bolstered by fashion folk and enough celebrity sightings (Tilda Swinton, Padma Lakshmi) to fill Page Six."

"Market to table, meet SoHo. Cool cat Matt Levine and his indieFORK crew along with Michelin starred chef Joe Isodori have made their mark on the downtown foodie scene with the arrival of Chalk Point Kitchen, a blasé ode to all things local. "Chalkpoint Kitchen is a Market-to-Table restaurant in SoHo that is one of the best brunch spots in all of Manhattan. "With so many restaurants opening up everyday here in NYC sometimes the food or the name backing it isn't always enough. Now more than ever it takes the continuous efforts of the staff, chefs, and every day detail in between to curate an amazing dining experience and Chalk Point Kitchen has that formula. I can't wait to dine here again (and again and again) because there are still things on the menu that I need to obsess over. "

"…virtually every ingredient is sourced in New York. The pearl oysters they serve — topped with toasted curry oil, salmon caviar, chervil and served atop a swirl of wakame — were caught off the shores of Montauk. They get their daikons — braised in a fermented black bean sauce and served with Thai basil — from Satur Farms on Long Island. "
